Raj Kundra arrest: Erotica is not porn, claims Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty

Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty Kundra is reportedly recording a statement to the Mumbai police in connection with the arrest of her husband Raj Kundra, who is accused of filming and distributing pornographic content via mobile apps in India.

Sources cited by the ANI news agency claimed that Shetty Kundra named London-based Pradeep Bakshi, Kundra’s son-in-law, the man behind the Hotshot app, which is at the center of the investigation.

The sources also said that in her statement, Shetty Kundra told Mumbai police that she was not aware of the exact content of the Hotshot app, and also claimed that she herself had nothing to do with the app.

Shetty Kundra has also defended her husband, claiming that he is innocent, claiming that he is into eroticism and not pornography, claiming that multiple streaming platforms show similar content.

Mumbai police also raided Shetty Kundra and her husband’s home on Friday, where they reportedly seized a hard drive and computer.

The Mumbai police are also checking to see if any money earned from porno racketeering has been transferred to / from the actress’s bank accounts.

On Friday, a Mumbai court sent actor Shetty Kundra’s husband and partner Ryan Thorpe into custody until July 27 in connection with a pornographic film case.
