Brazilian Playboy cover winner Miss BumBum was sentenced to eight years in prison for prostitution and drug dealing after violently undressing when police arrested her at a hotel.

The winner of the Brazilian competition Miss BumBum, who also appeared on the cover of the Portuguese playboy, was sentenced to eight years in prison.

The adult film star was part of a female-only drug trafficking scheme run by a criminal organization set up by prostitutes.

Investigators discovered that the pornographic actress and her associates specialized in the distribution and sale of Class A drugs, including cocaine.

She was imprisoned in the Brazilian state of Espirito Santo from June to September last year, awaiting trial.

Police investigators found that the group was selling drugs to wealthy clients in the Federal District, where the capital Brasilia is located.

Clients are estimated to have paid between R $ 500 and R $ 1,000 (£ 70-140) for the group’s services.

Tamayo, nicknamed the “Queen of Powder”, once featured on the cover of Playboy magazine in Portugal, and she also competed in the regional Miss BumBum competition, which awards women with the best buttocks, which she won in 2018.

According to a Brazilian online magazine, she has also starred in pornographic films. The last second, in which she performed under her industry name Pamela Panther.

Large quantities of cocaine, firearms and ammunition were seized during police raids on 5 June 2020, during which 37 arrest warrants were served.

Investigators at the time said they believed the criminal organization, run by prostitutes, had a “sex program” that involved providing escorts and drugs to wealthy clients.

When she was arrested last year, she was found with a small amount of marijuana and rolled up dollar bills, which she said was being used for taking drugs.

CCTV footage of her arrest has been released, showing her carrying shopping bags as a plainclothes officer approaches her and takes her by the hand and leads her away.

“According to the information we have, she created a package consisting of prostitution and drug trafficking, or for the consumption of this [sexual] relationship, or at a later time, ”said prosecutor Rafael Correa during her arrest last year.

“She first worked as a call girl, supplying drugs to people who hired her services,” he said. “But there is also evidence that she also had some sort of drug delivery service in the federal capital.”

While prostitution itself is not prohibited in Brazil, hiring sex workers and running brothels is prohibited.

The court stated that the model can serve a sentence in a semi-open mode and the sentence can be appealed.
