‘Vampire’ confesses to murdering ten children during five-year killing spree in Kenya 

The man, dubbed a vampire, confessed to killing ten children and sucking blood from at least one murder in Kenya over the course of five years.

Masts Milimo Wanjala, 20, was arrested Wednesday after police tracked him down after two bodies were found in a dump in Kabet, near Nairobi.

He has confessed to ten murders over a five-year period and is helping police recover the bodies.

Officers said Wanjale would face multiple charges of murder.

According to local media reports, the five-year string of murders began when he was just 16 years old.

He allegedly kidnapped 12-year-old Purity Maveu and sucked her blood before leaving her for dead.

It is believed that three years later, Wanjala struck again at Kimilili, western Kenya, killing 13-year-old Aaron.

The boy’s death led to violent protests in Kamukuiva, during which residents set fire to a house they believed belonged to the suspect.

Several bodies of Wanjala’s alleged victims remain to be found after he dumped them down the drain.

Wanjala’s appalling confession led several Kenyan newspapers on Thursday morning.

According to Missing Child Kenya, in 2020, 242 children under the age of 18 – 125 girls and 117 boys – were reported missing.

Most of them have been reunited with their families, but at least 10 people have been found dead and 18 are still missing.
