Eden Hazard and Virgil van Dijk have been unveiled as the protagonists of the cover of next year’s edition of FIFA.

FIFA 20 will see Real Madrid’s £ 150 million recruit Hazard on the cover of the standard edition, while Liverpool’s Van Dijk will be the star of the Champions edition.

The game will be released worldwide on September 27, with the Champions League version available three days earlier via pre-order.

Speaking of the new covers, Hazard said: “EA SPORTS FIFA is the greatest soccer game on the planet and I have been playing it against my brothers for years.

“I’m lucky to have been on the cover before, but being on FIFA 20 globally is fantastic and I hope to excite as many players as I do when I play for Real Madrid this season!”

Dutch international van Dijk added: “It is a great honor for me to be on the cover of FIFA 20”.

“I have been playing FIFA for as long as I can remember and therefore it is an extremely proud moment for me to represent Liverpool on the cover of such an iconic game.”
